What is version control for object storage?

Retain version records for uploaded objects. After versioning is enabled, multiple files with the same name can exist in object storage, which are sorted by version according to the upload time sequence without overwriting each other. 

 The versioning feature allows multiple versions of objects to be retained in object storage, enabling quick restoration to historical versions and data recovery in the event of application failures or other unexpected situations.
