What are the application scenarios of high-availability virtual IP?
If users need to improve the high availability of services and avoid single points of failure, they can use the "one primary and one standby" or "one primary and multiple standbys" approach to combine and use elastic cloud hosts. Multiple elastic cloud hosts deployed in primary-standby mode within the same subnet are bound to one HAVIP. One primary server is in the active state, while the other standby server is in the standby state. The IP address for external service provision is the HAVIP. The HAVIP only takes effect on one primary device. When the primary server fails and cannot provide external services, the standby server takes over the HAVIP to continue providing services. If these elastic cloud hosts need to be accessed from the public network, the HAVIP can be bound to an Elastic IP (EIP) address to connect to the public network. In this way, multiple elastic cloud hosts deployed in primary-standby mode and bound to the same HAVIP address can be accessed from the Internet, achieving the goal of high availability.
